Free Admission at Yosemite – Saturday, September 30
This Saturday, entrance to Yosemite (and all other national parks) is free! So grab a Marina burger (or three) on your way out to the park and enjoy the sights.
North Fork Lions Club Pancake Breakfast – Saturday, September 30
Come enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, sausage and eggs and help support the North Fork Lions Club. The Lions will be serving from 7 to 10 a.m. at the North Fork Town Hall. Pre-sale tickets are available from any Lions Club member, and you can stop by Goodwin Lumber and get tickets from Kenny any time. Prices for the pre-sale tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for kids under 12. Tickets at the door will be $7 for adults and $6 for kids.
Farmers’ Markets
Wednesday, September 27, Bass Lake, Sunday, October 1, Coarsegold.
Stop by the incredible farmers’ markets to get some fresh veggies and more. And then head to the marina!
Every Wednesday from 4 pm to 7 pm at Pines Village in Bass Lake, and every Sunday from 10am to 3pm at the Coarsegold Historic Village. Everything you need for your local, seasonal shopping! NOTE: The Oakhurst market is closed for the year.
Detwiler Fire Relief Benefit – Sunday, October 1
Come join us at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds on Sunday, October 1st from 4-10 PM to help raise funds for the Detwiler fire victims. There will be bands, food & a silent auction/raffle! Musical lineup includes performances by Cottonwood Creek, Arroyo, and Mike Hammar & The Nails. Food and beverages provided by BB’s Catering and 1850 Restaurant & Brewing Company.
